NOVAFRICA News: Project on irregular migration featured in Spain
Irregular migrants that come to Europe through the sea on average expect that their chances of survival are 50%, even so they choose to do so and risk their lives!
This is one of the conclusions of a NOVAFRICA project in The Gambia that measures the impact of different policies to reduce irregular migration to Europe. The research results were presented at the Navarra Center for International Development from the University of Navarra.
Cátia Batista, Scientific Director of NOVAFRICA, explained this project to an audience including academics and policymakers.
