NOVAFRICA News: Weiss Family Award to Mattia Fracchia

The Job Market paper of NOVAFRICA PhD candidate, Mattia Fracchia, was awarded the Weiss Family Distinguished Paper Award at The North East Universities Development Consortium Annual Conference, hosted by Harvard University Centre for International Development.

His outstanding work, was chosen from 728 submissions.

Entitle  “Does Performance Evidence Motivate? A FieldExperiment in Guinea-Bissau’s Health Sector”, this paper investigates how employees respond to evidence about their organization’sachievements in accomplishing its mission.
