Angola Business School Celebrates Another Year of Activity

Nova School of Business and Economics has an established presence in Angola through ABS – Angola Business School and celebrated on 13 March another year of activity in that country.

The day was celebrated with the graduation ceremony of over 120 students that participated in ABS’ programs throughout 2011. The certificates have been awarded by Professor Ferreira Machado, Dean of Nova SBE, together with Sandra Raphael, CEO of ABS, and Professors Cátia Batista and Pedro Vicente of NOVAFRICA, the research center dedicated to the production and dissemination of knowledge related to economic development in Africa.

“It has been a successful year ” – sustained Sandra Raphael – “with over 800 participants, totaling 1600 hours of classes distributed along 38 programs.”

“This success derives not only from the academic quality of NOVA and its faculty but also from the commitment and dedication of the students and the important support of our Corporate Learning Partners in Angola.” – concluded the responsible in Angola.

Angola Business School celebrates another year of activity

The morning has been dedicated to the conference “Angola: Perspectives for the Future” with the presence of notorious international guests speakers such as Professor Paul Collier – Director of the Centre for the Study of African Economies at Oxford University and member of the Advisory Board of NOVAFRICA.
