NOVAFRICA News: Policy Roundtable on Job Creation in Africa at NOVAFRICA 2026
With a rapidly growing working-age population, job creation remains central to Africa’s development. As part of the 2026 NOVAFRICA Conference on Economic Development, NOVAFRICA will host a policy roundtable on “Job Creation in Africa”, one of the most pressing challenges facing the continent.
The session will feature David McKenzie (World Bank) and will focus on identifying effective, evidence-based policies to promote sustainable and inclusive employment across African economies.
Bringing together researchers and policymakers, the discussion aims to bridge the gap between research and policy, highlighting scalable solutions with real-world impact.
The NOVAFRICA Conference will take place on June 18–19, 2026, at Nova SBE.
