NOVAFRICA Conference on “Financial Development in Africa”
The NOVAFRICA and Nova Finance Centers hosted a conference under the theme “Financial Development in Africa”.
This Conference, took place on 31st March at Nova School of Business and Economics, in Lisbon, and addressed different topics related to financial development, including the role of migrant remittances, education, technological innovations and macroeconomic reforms in achieving widespread financial inclusion.
The Conference included a round table where the transition from the traditional aid paradigm to well-functioning financial markets was discussed.
This event included the participation of several international experts on Africa economic and financial development, such as Paul Collier, William Jack, Chris Adam and James Berry.
