The NOVAFRICA Center is proud to announce the 2014 summer research internships.
The internships will be held in the context of various research projects. In most of these projects we conduct randomized impact evaluations of several interventions – for example, community-driven development of schools in Angola, introduction of mobile banking technology in rural areas of Mozambique and among microentrepreneurs in the Maputo area. For additional information concerning some of these research projects, please see here, here, here and here.
The internships are open to all Nova SBE students and will take place in Mozambique and Angola, starting in mid-June 2014. The internship duration will be of approximately 2 months. The internships are not paid, although travel, accommodation and basic subsistence will be covered by NOVAFRICA.
If you are interested, please contact the NOVAFRICA center until April 15th by sending an email including a letter of motivation that explains why you would like to participate in NOVAFRICA’s internship program, and your curriculum vitae with the subject “NOVAFRICA 2014 Summer Research Internship”.
