The NOVAFRICA researcher Tijan L. Bah received his official PhD hold on October 23 for his doctoral work “Essays in International Migration”.
The PHD graduation ceremony was held in the UNL’s rectory and counted with the presence of Tijan’s family, friends, and faculty members that were invited to celebrate the successful completion of his doctoral studies.
The thesis of Tijan was supervised by Cátia Batista, scientific director of NOVAFRICA.
Tijan L. Bah was born in Gambia, undertook a master in economics in Italy, and visited Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne for one year during his doctoral work. His research is focused on topics related to development economics and migration economics. He is currently in the economics job market. For additional details see here.
