NOVAFRICA Workshop on Impact Evaluation of Transparency and Accountability Initiatives on the Extractives Industry

On the 6th of March, NOVAFRICA organized, in partnership with the University Eduardo Mondlane and the University of Navarra, a workshop on Transparency and Accountability Initiatives on the Extractives Industries in Mozambique.

The workshop was carried out as a prospective initiative for the design of a new research project on the impact of transparency policies on the exploration of natural resources. The event’s main objective was to gather information and promote discussion on the current situation of natural resources in Mozambique, focusing on the perspectives for natural gas exploration in Rovuma Bay.
